FAQs

Where is Liberty Park?

Liberty Park is just south of the Delafield Post office and St. John’s Northwestern, west of Genesee Street.  You may enter by foot over the bridge from the Dobson Street parking lot by the Fish Hatchery or the path starting off Genesee St.

How much does the stage cost?

Figures are being finalized, but estimates are in the $500,000 range without restrooms or a backstage area.

When will the stage be built?

We do not have a definite date yet.  A lot depends on funding, design choice and approval, city regulations/approvals and analyses.

How much are the summer concerts?

Concerts are free, donations to The Stage at Liberty Park are greatly encouraged to keep the concerts going.

What type of seating is there?

All shows are general admission seating, first come first serve.  You will need to bring your own chair.

What time are the summer concerts?

The park will open at 5PM for you to patronize our vendors. Shows begin at 5:30pm.  Shows will not run longer than 9:00pm.

Where can I park?

On the street, in the Fish Hatchery Sports area or in the Dobson St Parking lot.

What happens if it rains?

All concerts are rain or shine.  In the case of severe weather, you are advised to leave the park. You are responsible for your own safety.

What can I bring in?

Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, binoculars and purses. You may bring food and drink; we do have food and drink for sale from area restaurants. We encourage you to buy from our vendors. It supports our local businesses, a portion of that money goes to keep the concerts at The Stage at Liberty Park operating at no cost to you.

What can I not bring in?

Guests are not allowed to bring in tents/canopies, umbrellas, weapons, or grills.

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are allowed in the park, but must be on a leash and are not allowed to run loose. Please consider the comfort of your pet and the safety of others when deciding to bring a pet.  Many pets are happier at home where it’s quieter, not so hot and less crowded.  You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet.

What if I lost something at the show?

Anything found will be taken to the Delafield police department for pick up.

Can I make a donation at the show?

Yes!  We encourage donations in order to keep the shows going and raise funds for building a permanent stage.  The Delafield Arts foundation is a 501 (C)(3).  Please talk to your tax advisor to see if your donation is tax-deductible.
